5 Egg, cooked / hard boiled
1 Onion, thinly sliced
2 Green Chillies
1tsp Ginger, finely chopped or thinly sliced
Curry Leaves
1tsp Garam Masala
1tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt
1cup Thin Coconut Milk
1/2cup Thick Coconut Milk
2 Potato, dicied
2 Carrots, dicied
1/4cup Green Peas, frozen or cooked
Directions
- Heat some Coconut Oil in a pan and saute Onion, Green Chillies, Ginger and Curry Leaves.
- When Onion turns transparent, add Vegetables ( Potato and Carrots ).
- Mix everything well .
- Add Garam Masala and Black Pepper Powder.
- Saute all the ingredients together for 2min.
- Add Thin Coconut Milk and Salt.
- Allow the mixture to boil.
- Turn the heat down and allow Vegetables to cook.
- Add Thick Coconut Milk and add Green Peas.
- Cut or Slice Egg into half and carefully place into the gravy.
- Serve Mutta Stew / Egg Stew hot or warm with Puttu or Bread or Appam or Idiyappam.
