kcalSponge Cake is the one of the easiest Cake You can make at home . My kids love this Cake so much & I try to make this almost every week .
Ingredients
2cup All Purpose Flour
2tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
1stick Butter
1cup Milk
4 Eggs
2cup Sugar
1tbsp Vanilla Essence
Directions
- Mix all the dry ingredients together ( Flour, Baking Powder & Salt ) .
- Keep it a side .
- In a saucepan heat Milk & Butter together, heat until Butter is melted .
- Keep it a side .
- On a big mixing bowl beat Egg until its creamy .
- Carefully add Sugar & beat until the mixture is doubled in size & has a ribbon texture to it .
- Add Vanilla Essence & beat everything well .
- Into this Egg mixture, add Flour & carefully fold everything together .
- Transfer the hot Milk into a large bowl & slowly co-operate the Cake batter into the milk, try to do this in batches .
- Mix everything well .
- Pour the Batter into a prepared pan & bake in a 350 degree preheated Oven for about 30-35min or until its fully cooked from inside .
Allow the Cake to cool down .
- Slice & serve with Tea or Coffee .
