1 big Beetroot
2tbsp Water
Salt
- For Grinding
1cup grated Coconut
3-4 Green Chilies
1tsp Mustard Seeds
Curd or Yogurt
- For Garnish
1tsp Mustard Seeds
2 Whole Red Chilies
Curry Leaves
Coconut Oil
Directions
- Grate the Beetroot & cook with little water & Salt .
- Allow all the water to cook down .
- For Grinding
- Grind everything into a fine paste .
- Instead of water use Yogurt to grind the Coconut .
- Add this mixture to the cooked Beetroot .
- Turn off the gas .
- When the curry is cooled down add 1/2cup of Yogurt .
- Mix everything well .
- For Garnish
- Heat some Oil in a pan & crack all the ingredients .
- Pour this on the top of Beetroot Pachadi .
- Serve with Rice .
