Ingredients

  • 1 big Beetroot

  • 2tbsp Water

  • Salt

  • For Grinding
  • 1cup grated Coconut

  • 3-4 Green Chilies

  • 1tsp Mustard Seeds

  • Curd or Yogurt

  • For Garnish
  • 1tsp Mustard Seeds

  • 2 Whole Red Chilies

  • Curry Leaves

  • Coconut Oil

Directions

  • Grate the Beetroot & cook with little water & Salt .
  • Allow all the water to cook down .
  • For Grinding
  • Grind everything into a fine paste .
  • Instead of water use Yogurt to grind the Coconut .
  • Add this mixture to the cooked Beetroot .
  • Turn off the gas .
  • When the curry is cooled down add 1/2cup of Yogurt .
  • Mix everything well .
  • For Garnish
  • Heat some Oil in a pan & crack all the ingredients .
  • Pour this on the top of Beetroot Pachadi .
  • Serve with Rice .
